Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, I discovered my passion for painting at the age of eight, sketching and painting landscapes that sparked a lifelong creative journey. With a background in Theatre and Television Production Design, my artistic practice is deeply influenced by storytelling, visual drama, and the striking aesthetics of the stage.

While studying design in college, I balanced my time between drawing tourist caricatures at Fisherman’s Wharf and creating sets and costumes for productions at the Presidio Playhouse and other local theaters. These early experiences continue to inform my approach to color, form, and composition.

Now based in Los Angeles, I work primarily in acrylics, exploring layered textures and bold color palettes that reflect my theatrical roots. My abstract compositions often draw inspiration from Mid-Century Modern design—its clean lines, structured forms, and timeless simplicity resonate deeply with me. I’m continually experimenting with technique and material, but always return to the emotional impact of color and the architectural beauty of line.

“My earliest art memories are of creating architectural compositions of the San Francisco skyline using confident brushstrokes and multiple layers of paint to add depth and texture.

Years later, my painting style remains consistent, yet has evolved to reflect a deeper understanding of life's complexities, enriched by personal experiences and emotions.

I am particularly fascinated by vibrant, intentional abstract works that combine architectural motifs with playful elements, resulting in compositions that convey a sense of movement and depth.

My ultimate goal is to engage the viewer in a meaningful narrative, evoking emotions such as joy, curiosity, optimism, and a sense of liberation.
