Pablo Picasso’s “Light Drawings,” was a photo series in a 1949 Life Magazine in which he experimented with small lights in a dark room. This era, following WWII, represented a more lighthearted approach that showcased a new direction in mid-century art. My dance series pays tribute to this playful and expressive period.
Having a deep appreciation for mid-century architecture and design, I integrated my background in theatrical operatic and ballet design to create “Dance". This project is an exploration of rhythm, movement, and expression.
